Services Provided: In 2022, Destination BC developed a grant writing program to support non-profit BC tourism organizations with implementing Destination BC’s destination development strategies. Clear Course has been contracted to provide project development and related grant writing support to organizations across BC focusing on the Sea to Sky region, extending from Squamish to the Lillooet and Bridge River Valley area.
To date, we have supported a wide range of Indigenous and non-Indigenous organizations by applying for funding for a wide range of projects, including the following:
trail and boardwalk planning and construction
wayfinding and interpretive signage
festivals and events (e.g., wine and food, sports, and music)
new campground sites and amenities
a tourism master plan
winter maintenance services
economic development supports
agri-tourism infrastructure and amenities
Outcome: Secured more than $4.5 million in funding for organizations around BC.
